Volume 49: Sd.Kfz. 138/2 - Jagdpanzer 38 and variants finally out

After a long period of preparation, the new Nuts & Bolts Volume 49 on the Jagdpanzer 38 and its variants has finally been published. At 336 pages, it is the most comprehensive volume to date. It describes in detail the development history of the Jagdpanzer 38 and its variants such as the Bergepanzer 38 and Flammpanzerwagen 38, their technical details and reports on the use of these vehicles from their time in the former German Wehrmacht to their use by the Swiss Army, which only ended in the 1970s.

The volume contains 336 pages of German-English text and photo captions by Dr Nicolaus Hettler, 335 contemporary photos, 230 photos of surviving vehicles in museums and private collections, approx. 80 scale drawings in 1:35 by Lieven De Conninck of all known versions including Bergepanzer 38 and Flammpanzerwagen 38, 16 camouflage schemes based on historical photos by Laurent Lecocq, 46 tables with technical and historical details, 3 KStN TOEs by Joachim Baschin and information on units that were equipped with the vehicles.
